We Love Halloween!

It's true! It may even be our favorite holiday! (I'll say it is until Christmas. Than I'll take it back!) Anyhow, I cannot wait until we have a kid, so we can dress him or her up in adorable outfits and take 10s of thousands of pictures! Since we don't yet, we went to Pensacourt's (www.pensacourt.com) Annual Halloween Carnival to volunteer and take some pics of other people's adorable kids! This is one of the booths I was running, called Feed the Monsters. Ken daringly took a pic from behind the monsters' mouths, and I think almost got seriously injured by a bean bag. Look at this kid's amazing throw!

She was doing great at the ring toss too (seriously, the hardest game at the Carnival! I don't think I could have made it). These kids must work out at Pensacourt!!! :)

Kelly + Chris

Hi Everyone!
We recently had the opportunity to take engagement photos of one of my favorite couples ever, Kelly and Chris! These guys are having a ridiculously fun wedding (stay tuned for pics Summer of '08)! I thought OUR wedding was just about as fun as you could get, being at the zoo, but I think this one is going to top it. It's going to be Rennaisance themed at this gorgeous place in Tampa. I can't remember the name of the place, so I'll have to bug Kelly later on to post a link for you all to see. It has a yellow Cinderella ballroom, an enchanted forest...just about everything you could think of. We really cannot wait to photograph this wedding!
Anyhow, I'll postpone the suspense and show you some pics of these two.

We're Baa-aaack!

We had such a blast on our trip to Ohio, and not only did we get to actually see a REAL autumn, with leaves changing colors, we got to attend one fo the most fun weddings we've ever been to! J.C. and Amanda were lucky enough to also have their wedding on one of the best fall days ever. Check out their awesome cake!



J.C. and Amanda live with and take care of Kyle, who has Fragile X. He did a great job being a ringbearer, and I got the BEST shots of him dancing later on in the night. A great time was had by all!



Hopscotch was a popular activity too! ;)



Amanda is probably going to kill me for posting this pic, but the DJ made her sing "My Guy" after he had J.C. belt out some "My Girl." Like me, she hates to sing and was verrrrry reluctant to do so, but we all cheered her on! This is her "trying to be polite when she realllllly wants to leave the room" face!



OoOoOh, and before I forget - one of our favorite parts of the wedding were the cookies! They had photo cookies made, and as you can see I had a little TOO much fun making cookie art out of them...

Our first blog post!

Hi!
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out our blog!
We’re really excited today because we’re going on a mini vacation tomorrow for awedding out in Ohio. Tons of pics will be posted when we get back, trust me! We both still need to actually pack up our suitcases though because last night, buying things for our Halloween costumes seemed more important. We’re going all out this year on our costumes. I’m not telling what we’re dressing up as though. You’ll just have to wait to see the photos! All I’m going to say is we pretty much are doing the exact opposite of the cutesy matching couple costumes.
I also want to say that putting together a website is really a lot of work. Thanks so much for your patience as we (really me, Samantha, I’m the official “web designer”) finish the site. I think it’s going to be an ongoing process for a while. Be proud though because I finally got some of my paintings on the site today though. I do actually have another website devoted just to my paintings, but that site REALLY needs work, so I’m keeping the site name under wraps for now. What can I say, website design just is not as much fun as photo shoots and painting sessions!
