Counting down the days...

Only two more days until we close on our new house! Ahhhh!! We're so excited. :)

We're going to be doing a lot of fun decorating including a huge ceiling sky mural in my painting studio, and a nice new photography studio and office/photo editing area (where you'll be able to find us most of the time).
Be sure and visit us once everything's complete, or even earlier if you want to take part in our giant painting party!

And of course, a blog wouldn't be complete without at least one photo. Check out this hilarious pic we got over the weekend at Irene and Howard's wedding on Navarre Beach. Doesn't Howard make a stunning bride? ;)

What we've been up to...

No, we aren't dead. Just a bit tired! Things have just been pretty crazy with us lately between photoshoots, getting a new house, and having our current place unexpectedly flood on us on the day of the Southern Wedding Style Magazine Premiere!
Things are looking good with the new house though, and we're super excited. We're expecting our brand new studio, and our brand new house April 17th. We're going to have a crazy fun painting party at our house (we like bright crazy colors, so it's going to be a fun transformation), and we plan on taking lots of before and after pics. :)

We're buying a house!

We're so excited about it!! We're getting it inspected Monday, so cross your fingers for us that everything goes well. It's got a great studio and office space for us too. It's really everything we were looking for in a house and more.
We've been so busy with all of that, and with photo jobs, that we've once again neglected our poor blog!
Here are a few pics we took last night from a 20 themed photo shoot with the gorgeous Kathleen.









We also got Ken to model briefly for this, so everyone tell him how great he did. Ha, I think he looks like an Amish Gangster!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here are some photos we did with our Valentine's Contest Winner Gini and her ridiculously adorable daughter Claire. We had so much fun, and as a bonus Ken and I definitely got some exercise running after Claire on the playground!






In other At First Sight Photography news, we recently attended a photography session with a bunch of other amazing local photographers. One of our models happened to be my latest pin-up model, Cher. It looks like we've found a new muse...

Also, we have some exciting news. Tomorrow we are going to go meet with a realtor and talk about finally buying a house! That means a bigger photography and painting studio for us, AND I finally get to paint some walls. WooooOoo!

California Bound!

Hi everyone!

I'm going to California tomorrow for Melissa and James' wedding! I'm hoping the weather is a little warmer there than it is here right now. I live in Florida for a reason - I hate the cold!
